Pass Otaru and Yoichi, drive “Niseko Panorama Line” stretching from Iwanai Town to Kyowa Town and the JR Niseko Station. You can catch a nice view of birch groves, the Sea of Japan, Mt. Yotei called Ezo Fuji and other mountains in the Niseko mountain range on this route. Located on the highland of 750 meters above sea level, Shinsen-numa is well known for its majestic beauty of the virgin forests of dwarf stone pine, red pine and Yeddo spruce, where the Niseko mountain range stretches. The seasonal colors of nature here have attracted many hikers who explore the lakes and bogs. Start with the walk to the Shinsen-numa and experience the beautiful vistas of this magical area.
You will have seasonal local dishes for lunch at Niseko Hot springs village Ikoi no Yuyado Iroha , the foot of Niseko Annupuri. You can also enjoy the natural scenery of Niseko from an open-air hot spring bath, and there will be a chance to see wild animals. After lunch, head to “Niseko Milk Kobo” which is well known for its “delicious sweets” made with fresh milk from its own farm. Following Niseko Milk Kobo, you will proceed to Kyogoku Fukidashi Park where the rain and snow from Mt. Yotei work its way through the ground to spout out. The Fukidashi Park is listed on “the 100 Best Waters in Japan” and visitors can enjoy its fresh spring water for free.
