JR Pass Kansai Area
JR Kansai Pass allows you to use the train of West Japan Railway Group. This ticket can be used with a choice of 1 to 4 days, in the Kansai area (Osaka, Kobe, Himeji, Kyoto, Nara, Wakayama, Shiga). This ticket can not be used for shinkansen or limited express trains other than Haruka. This ticket can only be purchased by Temporary Visitor visa owner. These tickets also can be purchased in Japan but the price is more expensive.

All local trains, rapid service and special rapid service belong to West JR Group, non-reserved seat Limited Express Haruka.

General Information
Additional charges are required for:
1. Reserved seat at Kansai Airport Express HARUKA
2. Reserved and Non-reserved seats on express trains other than Haruka
3. JR Kansai Area Pass can be redeemed at the following stations:
- Kyoto Station
- Osaka Station
- Shin-Osaka Station
- Sannomiya Station
- Station Nara
- Wakayama Station
- Kansai Airport
Tickets must be redeemed within 3 months of issue.
Terms and conditions
To get / buy JR PASS tickets, there are 2 terms that are:
1. Photocopy of passport
2. Copy of valid Japanese visa.
Temporary / tourist visits
Under Japanese Immigration law, tourist visits are only allowed for stay for 15 days/ 90 days. This type of visa can buy a JR pass (visa written TEMPORARY VISITOR).
Japanese citizens residing abroad
A Japanese person living outside Japan permanently in the country, or married to a person of another State living outside Japan.

JR Kansai The Wide Area Pass allows you to use the West Japan Railway Group's train. This ticket can be used with a 5 days option, in the Kansai area (Osaka, Kobe, Himeji, Kyoto, Nara, Wakayama, Shiga) to Okayama and Takamatsu.
